The Buddy International is distributed in the United States by Genuine Scooter Company. Internationally, it is marketed as the BuBu. The Buddy/BuBu is manufactured by PGO Scooters, a Taiwanese scooter manufacturer that originally had a "technical partnership" with Piaggio.
The Buddy 150 has a 150cc, 4-stroke, carbureted engine.
